Trivia So Useless You Would Hit Me For Posting It

My lameness, as Slur very well knows, have recentlt reached a new high, some times even surpassing MShern, the Father of Lameness himself. I can actually say jokes so lame even MShern goes "Huh?!". Anyway, I was surfing the net just now and found a few trivias that I thought were absolutely funny but you guys might beg to differ or what... Whatever, I still think they're cool! I believe none of these facts will ever help you in real life. If it does, please tell me because I would really like to know who would be lame enough to make use of these facts.

  9. American Airlines saved $40,000 in 1987 by eliminating one olive from each salad served in first class.
  10. The question mark came from a monk habit of writing the Latin word for question, quo, at the end of sentences. Over time, the letters were written vertically to save space and morphed into the ? we write today. Similarly, the exclamation point came from the Latin word "Lo", meaning something important that should be heeded.
  11. The very first bomb dropped by the Allies on Berlin during World War II killed the only elephant in the Berlin Zoo.

  16. Celery has negative calories! It takes more calories to digest a piece of celery than the celery has in it to begin with. (Dang it! I hate celery!)
  17. Charlie Chaplin once won third prize in a Charlie Chaplin look alike contest.
